Oo-kook Korean BBQ in San Gabriel

Price to what you get is great. The best thing about this place is that they won't hound you to switch out your grill so you can cook and enjoy your time much more. And even if they ask to swap it out, you can politely decline them until it is necessary, although I can get through a whole meal here without swapping it out. Salad bar is available as well with some lemon water. Overall good spot.

A nice restaurant with an experience. The only issue is maybe you will get the smell of what you cook on you. Other than that, food is great

The service is always fast, excellent character, very welcoming employees. I will eat here again when I get in the area.

- Customer service is good. Super fast, and they can read your mine. JK. Whenever I need something, they always come and ask me "do I need anything". Sweet.- The food taste good when I eat with "chili sauce" and "bean paste". We can go get the sauce, veggies, chilli, soup...buy yourself. And we can only order 3 dishes one time.

Worth the wait and every penny. Be patient with the service when it’s super busy but the staff is friendly and changes the grill plate often. The beef ribs on the bar is a mist have and we loved the bulgogi and galbi! Everything else is good too. GO HUNGRY!

The best Korean BBQ I know in the San Gabriel valley. Nice people, great food with a nice selection of all the good side dishes.

It's like any other Korean bbq place but better in certain aspects. They have the vents sucking from below which is nice. They have both thick and thin pork belly. Some people don't like just the plain meat but this place has some really good sauces that you can get from the cold section that make them super yummy.

Went with a friend who new about this place. It was super loud but so good meat came out fast and was always good. They have a little buffet area that has veggies and stuff like noodles beef ribs, tofu, sauces and soup. It is somewhere i would go again.

Meat quality is very good, especially they offered fillet mignon, and rib steaks. The other Korean BBQ places may be cheaper, but you would only get cheap meats. Service is excellent A bit expensive but it's worth it

By far my favorite kbbq spot because they have duck as a meat option and I love duck. All the other meats I've had have also been good. Only heads up I can really give are the shrimp are the ones you will have to peel yourself so they can get kinda messy to eat and labor intensive. They are good but I'm lazy and rather just shovel food in my mouth without work. Another reason I like this place is that they have a side dish bar. The glass noodle dish is very very good as is the dukpoki(spelling?). Worth the price

Really cool experience. I had not been to this kind of place before. There is a grill at the center of the table and you cook your meat. There was definitely plenty of tasty options to try. I definitely recommend to go with 2 or 3 people.

We tried so many meats!! Short rib, pork belly, octopus, steak...just to name a few. Korean short ribs with the bone were my favorite. Lots of rice and kim chi. Mushrooms and veggies. Great for a group of people. Fast cooking at the table. Go for all you can eat. So many choices!!

You can order a full rib eye steak. They have a self serve salad bar and all you can eat. The quality of the meat is great and have comparable prices for what you pay for, which is variety and quality. Kamsamnida!

The best all-you-can-eat KBBQ place around town. They keep raising the price, but it's definitely worth it. The cuts of meat are excellent. And the marinades are just right. It's levels better than Gen Kbbq.

Very well kept and convenient restaurant. They provide large portions and for reasonable prices. We loved the meals very much and the waiters were very amiable and informative. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place has it all. Fresh meats and an awesome veggie/ hot food bar. Came here with some friends and left completely stuffed. We ordered the premium option. Highly recommend the pork belly 3 ways, filet mignon, galbi, Cajun shrimp and steak tips. They don't cook for you here, but the food comes out quickly. Service here is great. Our grills were constantly being switched out and our server was always asking us what we wanted next. The place is spotless from the bathrooms to the hot food bar. The meats tasted really fresh and not frozen. There are plenty of other AYCE KBBQ spots in the area that may have a better meats. Unless this is your plan B this won't be bad option. Just call ahead and brace for a short wait

Our first time and we loved it! Excellent service!

Last week was the first time in this magnificent restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We had a good time with the generous service, with the superb food and booze and with the modest pay. We will definitely return there in a short time.

The meal is amazing. Not only is there a ton of delicious meat and veg options to choose from. The people come by and really take care of you. One lady even came by and helped to cut the fat off the steak. They have some interesting options but I would suggest going with a group to try as much as you can.

I love it because it's fun and the people are very friendly and helpful. Plus the food we cook is good 😋 and tasty 😋.

I like this spot! They provide great meals, their menu is large, The chief cook in that restaurant is well trained, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the service towards the guests is friendly. I visit often this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.

They have a buffet banchan and they have great quality meat. A friend recommended this place and I will definitely be going back again and recommend it to other people. I love the radish paper! It's the first time I've tried it and it was really good!

One of the few places that really earns its five stars. The staff was friendly and informative about things of menu, also when asked the would giving recommendations meats to order. The price is a bit steep but it is completely justified by the quality and of taste of the food.

Better than Gen BBQ by a long shot. Wherever Gen BBQ is getting their beef, they better send it back because it's prehistoric since Ook-kook BBQ is the future.

This place definitely takes the cake! Food selection is awesome and the best part is having "ALL" the menu to choose from for the same price. Is definitely a must go place. Make sure to call and make reservations or be prepared to wait for about 30-45 minutes.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this gorgeous place. Well we passed a tremendous evening and the place was indeed one of the reasons for this outstanding celebration. The crew contributed in a gorgeous way, the meals were extremely good and my friends were very cheerful. We shall definitely come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

This KBBQ has a large variety of meat and is the only place I’ve ever seen to serve duck breast, which is a really nice lean meat to have in between your more fatty meats. The thinly sliced pork belly, beef belly, and angus thinly sliced brisket are really good meats to start off with. I recommend ordering mushrooms and duck breast later if you start getting sick of the fat. The tofu soup is also pretty good at the end if you start feeling taste fatigue with all the meat.Overall, a solid KBBQ at lunch when the price becomes $23.99 per person. For dinner $28.99 per person is pretty high imo. The decorations around the tables are pretty cool tho.
